About Pilates

Pilates is a dynamic form of exercise that focuses on core muscle strength, stability and flexibility. Pilates exercises can be performed on a mat on the floor or on a reformer – a piece of equipment that uses a system of pulleys and springs. The exercises can be tailored and modified to accomodate all ages, abilties and needs. Pilates is a great way to rehabilitate after injury or to use for athletic conditioning.
