I was referred to Sue’s 4 Seasons Pilates Studio after I hurt my lower back; at that time I had no idea what pilates was and had never seen a pilates machine.  I have now been taking classes, both mat and private equipment classes, for three years, and it has really changed my life.  My body has changed; I am longer, my back is so much better, my abs are flatter, and I am much stronger.  I had pain in my quads while skiing for 10 years; now I ski pain free. At 65, I had lost 1 1/2 inches of height. I have now gained half of that back. With Sue’s coaching I have lost 12 pounds. Frankly, I look and feel great, much better than I did 3 years ago.  And pilates is fun!  I am so glad that I was introduced to Sue and her studio and recommend it highly.

My daugther gave me a gift certificate to 4 Seasons Pilates a few years ago. I had some serious back issues which needed low back surgery to repair. After my surgery, when I was able, I started working with Susan at 4 Seasons. She set up a personalized workout plan to help me recover from the surgery and she was able to help me strenthen my core and my back. Susan helps me correct my posture, makes my upper body stronger, and works on my balance. My pilates sessions are cusotmized for what my body needs to get strong. She makes sure that my form is correct so I get the most out of every session. The workouts are challenging, yet my body feels great afterword. I really believe that my PIlates sessions are the reason I was able to recover from my back surgery and I still continue to get stronger every class.
